"A warm welcome!
Hearts Day Nursery was born from a heartfelt vision to create a nurturing and inspiring space for young children—a place where each child feels valued, loved, and supported in their early steps toward learning. Please feel free to reach out at any time with questions or feedback—we’re here to listen and ensure that your experience with us is everything you wish it to be. We are committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where every child feels valued and supported."

Our Approach
Founded by a team of experienced educators and childcare professionals, Hearts Day Nursery was established with the belief that early childhood should be filled with joy, curiosity, and meaningful growth. From day one, our commitment has been to foster a safe, warm, and inclusive environment where little hearts and minds can flourish.
We believe in a child-centred approach that values each child's unique qualities. Our dedicated team is committed to creating a supportive and inclusive environment where children can thrive.
Our practitioners have been carefully selected. They share a common quality: respect for your child’s desire to learn and a total commitment to the fulfilment of their needs.
We are confident that we can give your child the best possible opportunities at the start of their education.
Flexible Day Nursery and Preschool sessions:
We provide childcare from 7.30-6.30 Mondays to Fridays, 51 weeks per year, closed on Bank Holidays, between Christmas and New Year, and two days for staff training. The nursery will do the utmost to accommodate your requirements, whether full-time early years education or part-time childcare for your child.
Partnership with Parents - we encourage parents to speak openly to us and discuss any concerns they might have. We feel it is very important to work in partnership with you and hope that you and your child will feel part of our happy team.

EYFS Curriculum
At Hearts Day Nursery your child's development starts with the Early years foundation stage (EYFS) statutory framework and goes beyond the EYFS curriculum by creating a vibrant, enriching environment tailored to each child's unique potential. While the EYFS provides a strong foundation, we enhance it with bespoke learning experiences, nature-based exploration, and creative activities designed to inspire curiosity and confidence. Our passionate educators deliver personalized care and attention, fostering a love for learning that extends beyond early years. With a focus on holistic development, we ensure every child thrives emotionally, socially, and academically, preparing them for a bright future.

Safety
As childcare professionals, we have a duty to safeguard and promote the welfare of children. The nursery has trained members of staff who are responsible for the implementation of our safeguarding policies and procedures.
All staff in the nursery are aware of their duties regarding child protection matters and have regular training in our safeguarding policies and procedures.
To ensure our own staff are suitable to care for children they undergo an enhanced DBS check prior to starting with Hearts Day Nursery.
In addition to this, a member of staff will not commence employment at our nursery until two suitable written references have been obtained from the most recent two employers.
Once employment has started, the new member of staff will not have unsupervised access to children until the Management Team feels confident to allow this.
For more information, please ask for our Safeguarding Policy and Procedures.
